Viktor & Rolf Doll Collection

While visiting the Sebastião Salgado "Genesis" photography exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum, there also happened to be this Viktor & Rolf Dolls exhibit (part of Toronto's 2013 Luminato Festival). A perfect opportunity to practice some portrait photography. Sort of.

These Victorian-style porcelain dolls are dressed in handcrafted, precisely scaled miniatures of Victor & Rolf's fashion show creations through the years. After my initial photography session and post-production, I returned a week later to complete the project, before the dolls moved on to their next stop.
